ABOUT DENISE SYLVESTER

After serving as a student ambassador to China, collaborating on the Shanghai Communique with other students for “modern” times, I decided to pursue a career in international law and policy. I have over a decade of experience with regulatory compliance, policy development, strategic planning, rule writing, and outreach and educational programming in environmental, agricultural, international, trademarks, copyrights, intellectual property, immigration, administrative, and federal agency law. I have extensive experience as a public speaker presenting before audiences of all ages and professions. In 2023, I notably served as a keynote speaker on the Status of Women. I have experience speaking about advocacy and complex regulatory policy issues on a variety of mediums, including radio and tv. I have presented at international conferences on tips and tools for non-profit advocacy at the state and national level. I am an experienced advocate having successfully led non-partisan efforts by Zonta International to end child marriage in Michigan and Virginia.*All posts are in my personal capacity.
