About Denise L. Shaughnessy
Over my 30 years of progressive operations experience within a service industry, I understand the importance of serving the customer. In addition, these broad-based experiences at a Top Fortune company taught me to drive results by on-going process improvements and through leading people.Most recently, in the last 10 years, while in a leadership role, I have had the opportunity to build two teams from the ground-up. In these roles, I created teams, set direction, and developed processes, serving in both a supervisor role as well as in a project manager capacity. In addition, I focused on strategic and tactical implementations as these roles supported large company-wide initiatives. I also served in a project manager role during a comprehensive review of a call center with over 800 associates. I led the review, partnering with an outside consulting firm, and seven dedicated team members. We completed an analysis of the operation including staffing/scheduling, training, processes, and rewards/recognition. I created timelines, reported progress and findings to executive leadership, and developed an implementation schedule. While I have a passion for leading projects, I also have a passion for leading people. I have learned the value of a diverse team and leveraging each individuals talent for the most positive outcome. During these initiatives, I have learned the value of applying both formal and informal change management tactics to help maximize success, not only for those ultimately impacted by the changes but for those involved in the project.
