Retired 1/1/2023 from WTW. Previously served in the role of Director, Health and Benefits for Willis Towers Watson in Overland Park, KS. This position includes working with large employers providing client oversight and strategic planning for their Human Capital needs. In addition, I work with our producers on new business marketing, development and strategy. From 2007 to 2014 served as Client Service and Operations Leader for Willis of Greater Kansas, Inc. With over 35 years of experience, including more than 30 years of regional management and new business development, I have experience in both the carrier and insurance brokerage aspects of the industry. I have worked with major employers on a local and national basis and have extensive experience with association and affinity group management and oversight. Previous roles include new business development, senior management positions and managing the employee benefits practice for the mid-western offices of an international brokerage organization until its sale in late 1995. Subsequent to that sale, I was a co-founder and owner of Corporate Benefits Consulting Group, LLC an employee benefits consulting and brokerage firm until its sale in January Following the sale of Corporate Benefits I joined a start-up consumer-driven healthcare company. As Director of Business Development, I was responsible for sales and marketing functions within the organization as well as seeking strategic partnerships with insurance, managed care organizations and national brokerage and consulting firms. Following our successful venture capital funding, the organization moved its headquarters from Kansas City to Minneapolis and I returned to insurance brokerage and continue to be recognized for expertise in consumer-driven healthcare space. In 2004 I co-founded and owned another benefits consulting firm that continued operations until we sold to and joined HRH in 2007.
