About Denise Heer
My path as an HR professional reminds me to be flexible, listen a LOT and continue to learn. Each situation is different and in that comes constant challenge and gratification. I enjoy surrounding myself with people who make me laugh, provide good feedback and accept me \"as-is\". Helping people is a passion of mine - which is why HR is the place for me. Satisfaction comes from helping someone who is in need or has a problem. When the solution comes (either on their own, or with help from me), it\'s so exciting! My 25+ years as a Health Educator helped grow my desire to help and support others. I\'m grateful that journey brought me to a career in HR. Whether it\'s working with leaders on employee relations issues, recruiting to fill roles, or coaching teammates along their career journey, each day brings new challenges that are teaching moments. My work, my family and my vast network help me to continue to try new things (i.e, sports, restaurants, activities). No matter what comes my way, hopefully I\'ll embrace it and thrive.
