Vulcan is the nations foremost producer of crushed stone for the construction industry. About half of our products flow into publicly funded projects such as roadways, schools, hospitals, utilities, etc. I manage Vulcan Materials Company\'s government and business relations for our North Carolina operations. I am responsible for external public affairs in support of the Company\'s business development, community and governmental relations objectives. We have strong outreach educational programs with our adopted schools and are proud of our environmental stewardship programs at our facilities. All of our operations are certified National Wildlife Habitat facilities and we also partner with the NC Wildlife Federation in their WAIT (Wildlife and Industry Together) programs.I am proud to be a founding member of Vulcan\'s Women\'s Leadership Council which was formed to promote, retain, and attract female leaders in our company.
