Responsible for Payroll (Union & Non-Union 950 employees) Partner with the Operations business and support facility objectives. Communicate to Managers and Supervisors on compliance and policies. Manage, Recruit all exempt employees and non-exempt. Employee Relations (Complaints, Grievances, Investigations) Drive on-boarding, ensuring that we are getting the best talent. Recruit, pre-screen, interview and select applicants for the Company. Responsible for EEO and AA Plan for the Company. Responsible for all hearing with local Unions. Review Systems and provide a detail analysis for improvements for HRIS and Payroll Programs. Implementation Paylocity Payroll System, which resulted in a savings of dollars a year. Implementation of timekeeping system (Novatime) which resulted in more detail time collection. Hold trainings for Managers and Employees on new system updates and or changes. Interact with other departments to create reports (hour & wage reports provide detail on overtime use). Oversee/Develop Payroll Clerk, HR Admin and Safety Admin in department. Manage all performance and evaluations for Salary Employees. Manage HRIS system and HR Software updates. Responsible for EEO and AA Plan for the Company. Affirmative Action Audits. Manage and oversee all Leaves (FMLA, CRFA, W/C) Conduct Job Accommodation through interactive process. Educate team and leadership on Benefits (Medical, LTD, 401K,Life, etc) Created/Implemented new integrations for employees to access benefits on line eliminating paper. Worked with current systems to have feeds be provided to our carriers for benefits. Schedule physical and drug screenings, process all paperwork and conduct orientation for all new employees. Work with CFO and budgets for the Company Create Policies and Procedures.
