About Denise Dossantos

Denise is an ambitious Boston-born native who loves her City. Born and raised in Dorchester, to Cape Verdean parents who migrated from Fogo to the U.S. in the early 90s. Denise has a background in community and engagement, as well as various volunteer experiences. She currently serves at the City of Boston\'s Director of City Council Relations for the Intergovernmental Relations Office for Mayor Michelle Wu. Denise is a passionate advocate for bridging the gap between City Resources and her community. she is committed to showing Boston different ways to engage within their neighborhoods, and how to remain informed. When she is not working she enjoys capturing moments and freezing time through her camera lens. Traveling and spending time with family is moments she is grateful and look forward too. Music and nature is her way to escape from the world.
