ABOUT DENISE ANDERSON
On January 1, 2024, I began serving a three (3) year term as Managing Partner of our Firm. I am also the Chairperson of the Firm\'s Construction Litigation practice group. In 2012, I earned Board Certification in Construction Law from the Florida Bar and prior to that I achieved an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell based on peer reviews. Practicing primarily in the fields of construction defect and product liability, I have handled numerous complex construction matters including the representation of general contractors, developers, converters, designers, as well as a variety of trades involving roofing, stucco, electrical, HVAC, window/door installers, shell contractors, framers, groundwork, masonry, waterproofing, painting, fire protection, and manufacturers and suppliers of building products. I also have 14 years experience in handling large property loss subrogation matters throughout the southeast portion of the U.S as a part of my 28 year tenure at the Firm. In 2016, I was elected to the Executive Council of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys (ADTA) after having served two terms as the National Membership Vice Chairperson of this defense organization. I also previously served on committees involving diversity, mentoring and webinar education within the ADTA.In addition, I have held several leadership positions in the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) since 2010 including Florida delegate and the Chairperson of the Steering Committee for the CLM\'s production of a Wiki Claims Handling Manual. The Manual continues to be expanded upon nationally by the various committees of the CLM. I have also served as a chairperson of the Construction & Environmental Conferences of the CLM in 2014 (Boston) and 2015 (Atlanta). In 2020, I was appointed to the Construction Community Advisory Board of CLM. I am in my second term on thr Advisory Board. In 20••••16, I served on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Construction Litigation Alliance (WCLA) after having been the Southeastern Regional Director in 20••••15.
