Community Resource Specialist conducts outreach to and assessment of individuals in vulnerable situations and works in conjunction with the Health and Human Services Department as well as the Arlington Police Department. CRS provides follow-up information, services, and referrals as necessary to support individuals needs. CRS provides ongoing support, as warranted, to support identified actions steps and case management goals. CRS maintains private information and records promptly and in accordance with agency standards. CRS develops and maintains effective relationships with Health and Human Services Staff, members of the police department, social services providers and residents in the greater Arlington community. CRS maintains extensive contacts with residents, their families, and social service providers through office interviews, outreach visits, telephone contact, and in-person or virtual meetings.
