In early 2005 I found myself in the right place at the right time. I was hired as a Digital Media Buyer and for the first time in my life I was exposed to the enormity of the universe that is digital marketing. I quickly learned that what separates online marketing, first and foremost, from traditional offline marketing is that everything can be measured with incredible specificity. In a direct-response world, where the effectiveness of every dollar spent can be tracked, this makes all the difference between winning and losing. Deming once said,\"Without data you are just another person with an opinion\", and I believe it completely. The journey continues. The ability to marry an understanding of business models, and core business objectives, with how to best leverage the various digital marketing channels in order to drive qualified traffic in the most profitable way is where I have found my passion professionally. Onwards and upwards!
