ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Personnel: Ensure that the process for hiring new applicants is consistent with agency policy & applicable labor laws & is applied uniformly across all program locations. Maintain a management & staffing structure capable of efficiently & effectively delivering first-rate services committed to within individual funding source contracts. Conduct employee performance evaluations annually. Facilities: Coordinate all building repair & maintenance, including compliance with local building codes, local fire department inspections, life safety codes, & related. Coordinate vehicles use & maintenance. Ensure that the ISP process is conducted in the best interest of everyone served & in compliance with DDS/MRC & regulations pertaining to ISP development & implementation. Ensure documentation of all ISP objectives is timely, accurate & in compliance with state regulations.3. Quality Assurance: Ensures through direct oversight, monitoring, & participation, that each Day Program site is rendering quality services to participants at a maximum level in all areas. Monitor unique supports not included within the ISP process & review possible structural or attitudinal limitations on the rights & freedoms of each person. Ensure a positive outcome of the Survey & Certification Review & CARF. Monitors & controls expenses & projected revenues of site-specific budgets on a continuous basis to ensure adherence to budget guidelines. Maintain open & effective communication with funding source, parents, guardian, employees, managers, vendors & communities. Participate on internal & external committees & boards.4. Administrative: Ensure that expenditures are approved & made within the framework established in the current fiscal year budget. Actively participate in the development of the budget on an annual & as needed basis.
