The Arc of Oklahoma is a state chapter of The Arc of the United States, the largest community-based nonprofit protecting and promoting the rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and supporting their full inclusion in the community throughout their lifetime-Grow organizational presence by leading the brand transition from a regional nonprofit to The Arc of Oklahoma, now serving a population of more than individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the state- Aggressively advance the interests of Oklahomans with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families through establishing state-level advocacy efforts and public policy priorities- Regularly engage with elected officials to expand our capacity to advance the rights of Oklahomans with intellectual and developmental disabilities through public policy-Continually test a range of marketing, communications, and media relations strategies, tactics, and messaging to drive attention to and garner resources for our advocacy efforts- Increase statewide media exposure to grow awareness of The Arc of Oklahoma and coverage of issues impacting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities- Publicize the contributions and potential of people with Intellectual and developmental disabilities with launch of an annual calendar featuring those we serve as a means to inform and change public attitudes.
