ABOUT DENA FERRARA DRISCOLL

For over 15 years, I’ve helped mission-driven organizations grow their resources, sharpen their strategy, and build durable coalitions. My work sits at the intersection of fundraising, policy, and narrative, ensuring that advocacy efforts for education equity, public health, housing, and environmental justice are backed by strong financial infrastructure and compelling storytelling.I currently serve as Development Director at Coming Clean, a national environmental health network working to reform chemical policy, advance cumulative impacts protections, and resource frontline communities confronting toxic exposure. I lead major donor strategy, foundation partnerships, and network-wide fundraising initiatives.Previously, I served as Director of Development and Communications at the Public Interest Law Center, where I led all fundraising, communications, and government affairs strategy in support of landmark litigation across education equity, housing stability, environmental justice, and voting rights. I built and managed diverse funding portfolios, secured transformative foundation and individual gifts, and guided a $2 million capital campaign during the early months of the pandemic.Earlier in my career, I held leadership roles at Neighborhood Bike Works, Smith Memorial Playground, the School District of Philadelphia, and Bartram’s Garden experiences that deepened my understanding of how public goods and community institutions shape stronger, more resilient cities.Outside of my day-to-day work, I remain deeply engaged in civic advocacy. I have served on the executive committee of Transit Forward Philly, helped launch Open Streets PHL, and chaired the 5th Square Political Action Committee for seven years, leading grassroots membership and fundraising efforts to advance equitable urban policy.I hold an M.A. in Museum Education from the University of the Arts and a B.A. in History from La Salle University. I thrive in fast-paced, mission-driven environments where strategy, leadership, and creativity drive lasting impact.
