Dads Hug Too/Allies in Motion digs deeper than a hug. When queer kids come out, often their parents check out and fail to pass along important life skills. Our DHT/AIM volunteers work to fill that gap, teaching life lessons such as changing a tire, jump starting a vehicle, preparing a resume, job interviewing, hanging things on your wall (and patching those holes to get deposits back), and more. We also teach Whole Life lessons: how to plant and care for succulents, beginning crochet skills, etc. Our organization still targets the involvement of Dads, but we want any ally who wants to support and mentor the LGBTQ+ community to join us!
