About Dena Aljabari

What do I want to be when I grow up? A princess, of course! That answer has never wavered in my entire life. I knew I was going to be a princess from the moment I was born. I mean, could you blame me? With the sparkly dresses, the beautiful shoes, and the extraordinary amenities, I had my life put together at five years old. But as I grew older, I realized what truly attracted me to being a princess. Yes, the dresses were terrific, and everything else was wonderful, but what stuck out to me was the freedom and comfort that being a princess brought. As a princess, I could be my own leader and do what I choose while making a life for myself! That is what first attracted me to a career in business. I loved the flexibility and freedom that business enabled me to have. I enjoy and Excel at math, so in a mathematical world of X and Y, I said why not! My love for the business world and math drew me into an accounting career! And you can a-count on me! But as for now, I have a positive and hardworking personality and enjoy working with numbers, patterns, and people! I am currently sharpening my skills at Lennox International as an accounting co-op, working with invoice processing, check handling, and some research-based projects. I am part of the Professional Program in Accounting (PPA 17) at The University of Texas at Dallas, where I plan to continue my educational goals of receiving my Bachelor\'s and Master\'s degrees in Accounting and then going on to conquer the CPA exam. I look forward to expanding my knowledge in the industry and seek to find a Spring 2025 tax internship to continue my professional journey and gain valuable experience.
