ABOUT DEMIS N. LIPE

Physician leader with a board certification in Emergency Medicine and a unique depth of clinical and industry expertise spanning endocrinology, metabolic disease, oncology, and immunotherapy (including ICI and CAR-T). Over the past several years, I’ve transitioned from front-line clinical care to leading and shaping medical functions in the CRO industry, guiding cross-functional teams, advising global clients, and building scalable medical systems that support high-stakes clinical trials.As Head of Medical Services at ProPharma, I’ve led the growth of a high-performing department from the ground up, driving process innovation, cultivating strategic partnerships, and mentoring a diverse team of medical monitors, safety physicians, and safety committee project managers. My leadership focuses on elevating quality, ensuring alignment between medical and operational goals, and adapting quickly to the evolving needs of biotech and pharma clients.Outside of my industry role, I’m the founder of Nemury Group, where I help physicians navigate the transition into pharma and non-clinical careers. I\'m also the author of From Stethoscope to Strategy: A Physician’s Guide to Transitioning into Pharma—a resource born from real-world experience, designed to empower clinicians exploring new professional paths.I’m passionate about bridging the gap between clinical rigor and strategic execution, and thrive in roles that call for vision, leadership, and meaningful impact.
