During my first-year placement with the Record to Report (RTR) team, I have been actively involved in supporting month-end processes, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. I also assist in managing outstanding debts and collaborate with different teams to gather data and maintain accuracy, helping to build strong working relationships.As part of my role, I am gaining hands-on experience with adjustment journals and Open Book reconciliations, further strengthening my technical knowledge. At the same time, I am working towards my CIMA qualification, applying what I learn to real-world financial tasks. This combination of study and practical experience is providing me with a solid foundation for my future career in finance.
