Started the media quality group at Meta from scratch, by first developing the core imaging algorithms for various product groups, and then leading and growing a group of talented engineers and AI/CV scientists to meet the demand and develop deep learning expertise. Led the development of Ray-Ban Stories\' Electronic Video Stabilization, Optical Flow, Spatial and Video Denoising, Super-Resolution, Photorealistic Style Transfer, Color Editing, Image Restoration, and Segmentation. Technically led the development of a RAW processing pipeline featuring RAW-domain deep denoising and burst capture fusion for low-light photo captures. Advocated for and implemented automatic enhancement algorithms for images and videos. Significantly increased metrics in FB Marketplace, FB Ads, Facebook app, Ray-Ban Stories, and other hardware projects. Designed, implemented, and tuned HDR, low-light video/burst capture denoising, and media editing engine for the Ray-Ban Stories smart glasses. Created a lightweight shader-based image editing engine now used in 70+ projects across the company. Research manager of 3 publications in top-tier Computer Vision conferences.
