ABOUT DELZAD BAJAN

As a Vice President in Marsh Canada\'s Cyber Practice, based in Calgary, AB, I specialize in Cyber, Media, and Technology Professional Liability products, delivering tailored risk solutions for Canadian businesses. With a focus on evaluating the cybersecurity postures of firms, I advise on cyber resiliency and develop insurance strategies to address complex exposures. In my current role, I oversee the structuring and management of sophisticated cyber insurance programs while providing expertise in contractual reviews and cyber insurability. My experience spans multi-faceted accounts, including both traditional and alternative risk solutions across various industries. I have particular expertise in the Power & Utilities, and Transportation & Logistics sectors, where I am recognized for my deep knowledge and ability to navigate the unique challenges these industries face in the evolving cyber landscape. Previously, I was based out of Marsh\'s Toronto and Mumbai offices. After earning a Bachelors in Engineering and Masters in Management Studies from the University of Mumbai, I joined Marsh India as a financial lines broker. There, I managed a portfolio of multinational clients with a specialized focus on pharmaceutical firms. I later moved to Marsh Canada, initially based in Toronto, where I built relationships with key insurance markets, before settling in Calgary. My background as a financial and casualty lines broker in the Indian market has given me a comprehensive understanding of global market appetite, coverage availability, and risk solutions. I\'m passionate about helping organizations build resilience against cyber risks and ensuring they have the right protection to safeguard their operations in a digital-first world.
