Today, I work almost exclusively with affluent/ultra affluent families and closely-held family-owned businesses. As a long time trusted business advisor, my experiences range from assisting clients with developing operational strategies for their family offices & businesses; assisting in pre-sale readiness & preparing their businesses for exit/sale, working in tandem with them & other advisors through closing; experience with family backed investment fund vehicles in various industries ranging from energy/real estate/crypto currencies & mining developing income tax strategies to maximize annual after-tax cash flows; and development & execution of multi-generational wealth transfer strategies; as well as, assistance with income tax compliance for individuals, estates & trust and family business entities; preparation of Forms 709, Gift Tax returns, and Forms 706, Estate Tax returns.I view my 30+ year professional network as being completely accessible to my clients. I am always willing to make a call or introduction for a client or prospect, particularly, if they believe it will help further their business & personal pursuits, including identifying talent for hire by their respective organizations.Throughout all of the above experiences, I pride myself on working closely with other outside advisors including legal counsel, investment & financial advisors, investment bankers, valuation professionals and other business consultants. I truly believe a client\'s interests are best served through such a \"hub & spoke\" team approach to providing advisory services.I previously was our firm\'s Tax Practice Leader and a member of the PKF Texas’ management committee. I served in both roles from Jan through Dec 2020, playing a role in the long term growth of the firm\'s tax practice, as well as, in guiding the firm’s overall strategic direction as a member of the management committee.
