About Chris Deluca
Chris DeLuca is writer/ comic/ producer and sometimes correspondent, with close to 15 years of experience working in comedy and news, in both broadcast, and digital arenas. As a writer he’s been on staff for Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, and has been a contributing writer to SNL’s Weekend Update. For four years, Chris was head writer for Spike TV’s Video Game Awards, working with hosts Samuel L. Jackson and Jack Black. In 2009, he created, wrote, and co-starred in the late night, low budget Spike sitcom, “Mocap, LLC” which was called (among other things) “…Always Sunny In Philadelphia, locked inside an X-Box.” by the venerable “Maxim” magazine. Chris has written extensively for Comedy Central, MTV, NICK, SPIKE, VICELAND, FUSE and BET where he was nominated for an NAACP Image Award. At VH1, Chris worked at Big Morning Buzz Live where he created the character of “World’s Oldest Intern”, reporting three times a week on entertainment stories live from Times Square. That winter, Chris was one of two writers on the historic 12/12/12 Concert For Sandy Relief. Shortly after, Chris transitioned into news for a stint as a Supervising Producer at CNN/ HLN aiding in HLN’s transition to a “Social Media Network”. At HLN, Chris supervised a team of up to 7 writers and producers, creating content for both TV and digital output. Chris has written for a number of award shows, including the VMA\'s and the CFDA Fashion Awards. He\'s been on staff at National Geographic\'s Explorer and served as an in house writer for \"All Star Saturday Night\" and the \"NBA Draft\" for The NBA. In 2018, Chris was nominated for an Emmy for his work as a Senior Producer on the daytime-comedy talk show \"Steve\" starring Steve Harvey. In 2019, Chris wrote and produced 24 episodes of the comedy webseries \"They Had It Coming\" and \"We Can\'t Believe They Survived\" for the NY Post video department. Later that year, Chris wrote for Michael Strahan, Erin Andrews and Katie Nolan on the ABC Special \"High Wire Live In Times Square With Nik Wallenda\". He has served as writer and \"host producer\" for \"Hot Ones: The Game Show\", at Tru TV,\"Dark Side of the Ring: The Aftershow Starring Chris Gethard\" at Vice, and \"Released\" for YouTube Originals. In the summer of 2021, Chris was a writer for \"We Love NYC: A Homecoming Concert\", which took place in Central Park before working for a season as Senior Celebrity Talent Producer at the \"Nick Cannon Show\". Currently, he is Studio Celebrity Producer at Comedy Central\'s \"Hell of A Week\".
