Lead a 30-member distributed team through the different periods of the product journey: the creation of an innovative web-based and fully in-house global reporting and limit monitoring solution, its adoption by 1500+ Market Risk and Front Office users, its continuous improvement and refactoring, the creation and demise of components, its split in micro-services and on-boarding to Cloud, and finally transition to new leadership- Prioritise continuously in Kanban the delivery of issues yearly from a complex and dynamic product backlog, ranging from regulatory initiatives (e.g, FRTB, Intraday Limit Monitoring…) to purely technical ones- Challenge and support the team to create effective processes to ensure our ways of working are continuously being improved, any production incident is handled in a timely manner and more value is delivered to the business, faster and with less risk, thanks to 100+ monthly releases to production, up 100%+ year on year- Elaborate User Interface (UI) designs and User eXperience (UX) patterns for the IT side of the team to deliver a platform that provides a clean, logic and dead-simple interface that is easy to navigate and on-board to- Promote the adoption of an Agile mindset and delivery methodologies within the department by acting as a subject matter expert and be the point contact outside of it for larger company-wide initiatives- Proposed and led an initiative to leverage on Jira to derive insights to continuously improve how we deliver value and Confluence to make information more accessible to people within, but also outside the department- Supported the delivery as a project manager or product owner of several additional strategic priorities of the department, including some tied to regulatory requirements (e.g, Trading Book Wind-Down)- Completed the “Accelerating into Leadership” programme following nomination and participant to the Coaching Circles programme for the second time in a row.
