About Dellaina McCarty
I am a second-year student at the University of Georgia on a pre-vet track. I have always grown up surrounded by animals and Wild Kratts on in the background. When I am able to, I love to be outdoors whether it\'s hiking, camping, or painting. As far as professional experience goes, I have interned and volunteered at numerous locations, both with small and exotic animals. From these positions, I have become well versed and opened my eyes to the vast possibilities veterinary medicine holds.Currently, I would love to develop my clinical skills. I have established basic animal husbandry skills through my internship at Bear Hollow Zoo, and hope to acquire experience in a veterinary clinic. I am looking for any shadowing, internships, or part-time assistant positions to increase my knowledge and passions.
