About Delisa Centell
As a registered nurse with a strong foundation in oncology, case management, and patient advocacy, I’m now fully committed to pursuing my passion for mental health - particularly among adolescents and underserved populations.This fall, I’ll begin my Master of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) student, with the goal of providing compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally competent care across the mental health continuum.My nursing experience includes both inpatient and outpatient care within Duke Health, as well as remote case management for chronic and life-threatening conditions. In every role, I’ve prioritized holistic care, communication, and collaboration to improve outcomes and patient experiences.Currently, I’m seeking opportunities to gain deeper hands-on experience in behavioral health and psychiatric nursing while completing my graduate studies.
