Position Overview:As the Site Lead & Managing Director for Gilbarco Veeder-Root, I am responsible for overseeing the operations and strategic direction of our Salzkotten facility. My role combines operational oversight with high-level strategic planning, ensuring that our site delivers excellence in both product manufacturing and customer solutions.Key Responsibilities:I lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary team, ensuring alignment with company goals and values.I ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and safe operation of the site, including production, quality control, supply chain, and customer service. Optimize resources and drive operational excellence across all functions.Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement site-specific strategies that align with Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s broader business objectives. Lead the execution of these strategies, adjusting plans as necessary to respond to market changes or operational challenges.Manage the site’s budget and financial performance, driving profitability while ensuring operational compliance with cost structures, quality standards, and safety regulations.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and suppliers. Serve as the primary point of contact for site-specific customer needs and ensure that all customer requirements are met or exceeded.Ensure the site adheres to all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.Champion a culture of innovation and process improvement. Drive initiatives to streamline operations, improve product quality, and enhance customer satisfaction while managing change effectively.Build a high-performing leadership team by identifying talent, mentoring future leaders, and ensuring effective succession planning at all levels of the organization.
