My journey into cybersecurity began with a simple realization: technology is only as powerful as it is protected. From the early days of troubleshooting networks to securing critical infrastructure, I\'ve dedicated my career to bridging the gap between innovation and security.Over the years, I’ve worn many hats — network engineer, consultant, IT security specialist, and now senior cybersecurity leader. Each role deepened my belief that true cybersecurity isn’t just about technology — it’s about people, trust, and leadership.Today, as a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant at CGI, I help organizations turn security into a strategic advantage. Whether cyber maturity assessments, building governance frameworks, or advising executive teams, my focus is simple: deliver solutions that protect, enable, and inspire confidence.Before joining CGI, I had the privilege of supporting digital transformation efforts at KPMG Canada, guiding clients through complex cybersecurity challenges. At Saint Mary’s University, I led initiatives that shaped a stronger, more resilient security culture for thousands of users — proof that even in large, decentralized environments, security leadership makes all the difference.Throughout my career, I\'ve committed to continual growth, earning certifications like CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, CDPSE, and CCSK — not just for the credentials, but to stay sharp and forward-thinking in a field that never stands still. Beyond my work, I serve as Membership Co-Chair for the ISC2 Atlantic Canada Chapter, mentoring and building community among cybersecurity professionals.What drives me?
