ABOUT DELANIE TASTO
I am a senior at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Combined Sciences; specifically Biology and Psychology, alongside a Cultural Awareness in Helathcare minor. I am very passionate about changing the \"sick care\" system into a healthcare system. I am hoping to obtain my Phd and Master\'s in Cell Biology, with a speciality in stem cell and regenerative medicine. I am proficient in PCR techniques, with a 95+% Efficiency. As well as detecting antibodies at femtomolar sensitivity in ELISA, where I submitted my work to the FDA. I am certified in 50-hour Yoga Teaching & I plan to pursue my PhD on the mind-body connection at the cellular level, with a focus on how stress alters DNA through methylation.I’m eager to expand my knowledge & experience in research to move towards a preventative healthcare-centered world. I hope to work for Oura, Whoop, or Garmin one day, especially in advancing the Women\'s Health Branch for future generations.
