About Delaney Kolberg

I live to fix things that are \"broken\" or maybe aren\'t broken but could be more efficient, seamless, or better in some way. Professionally, this has lead me into a career as a user experience designer. As a designer, I am always looking for ways to ease our users pain and improve their efficiency. Early in my career this meant making processes more transparent and creating better workflows to help our users do a job quicker and with more confidence. In my current role, this means enabling those who are doing this work to do it better through consistent standards, patterns, and education. I\'m a huge advocate of design systems and am always happy to talk more about what has worked well or not well for others.

   In this role, I am responsible for the end-to-end design of Service Center, a unified service experience for John Deere dealers. I am helping bring together vital machine details as well as capabilities like performing diagnostics in order to create a seamless and efficient process for technicians, service managers, and others in the service department. I partner with a UX researcher to get continuous user feedback and incorporate it into the designs. Using Figma, I craft prototypes to test out new concepts and provide a visual representation of the features for stakeholders and software engineers.
