Develop, implement, evaluate and monitor clients participating in federally funded workforce development programs. Recruit local businesses, educational institutions and construction apprenticeships to participate in Career Fairs. Contact businesses to promote the SDHC Achievement Academy and provide information regarding programs. Solicit, recruit and cold call businesses to build a network of partners and develop a pipeline of career opportunities. Facilitate Job Readiness Workshops and Achievement Academy Orientations. Provide supportive services, develop individual training plans and monitor participants. Provide employment counseling and job placement assistance to participants receiving (HUD) Section 8 assistance. Manage a caseload of over 100 clients by documenting goals, work history and any challenges to self-sufficiency.
