About Déja White
What I Do: I build the systems, partnerships, and tools that help people and organizations move from vision to execution, creating clearer pathways and better outcomes at scale. My Domains: Opportunity Navigation, Workforce Innovation, Economic Participation My Guiding Question: How do we intentionally create the conditions that help people and organizations discover possibilities, navigate uncertainty, and move toward meaningful outcomes? Call Me: breakroombuddha.com/partnership Beep Me: p••••••••@breakroombuddha.com I study how people discover opportunities and move toward meaningful futures. My work sits at the intersection of education, workforce development, technology, and human potential. Through research, technology, programs, and experiences, I explore what helps people recognize opportunities, navigate uncertainty, and take action. This has led me to build systems such as Scouta and Career CoPilot, design workforce and learning initiatives, and investigate the conditions that help opportunity become visible, trusted, and accessible. The gap between possibility and participation is where I work, because opportunities only matter when people can recognize, access, and act on Highlights: Led a federally backed AI literacy and upskilling initiative projected to serve learners Built AI-enabled pathway discovery and career navigation systems (Scouta, Career CoPilot) used across classrooms and workforce programs Designed and scaled multi-cohort college and workforce readiness programs supporting first-generation students Across my work, I focus on- Making opportunities easier to discover, understand, and navigate - Designing systems that help people move from awareness to action - Translating complex workforce and economic trends into practical next steps - Building tools, programs, and experiences that strengthen opportunity literacy - Helping institutions better recognize, support, and develop human potential - Turning research, signals, and observations into real-world interventions - In constant pursuit of my living essence and helping others pursue theirs.
