In charge of overall public health related operation onboard, responsible for training the department managers and crew onboard the ship and at Company private island.Responsible for implementing and monitoring Disney Cruise Line® policies, procedures, and record keeping to ensure that the operation complies with all applicable national (VSP) and international laws.ResponsibilitiesSupervise implementation of public health procedures for vessel sanitation and ensure that the vessel and Company private island are operated in compliance with applicable national (VSP) and international laws.Chair Sanitation and other PH related meetings and communicate issues to ensure their resolution in a timely manner Coordinate routine/regular PH inspections onboard and at Company private island (including random inspections as needed) to monitor compliance with the Vessel Sanitation Program and recommend corrective action in these areas- Food Safety - Personnel (including training, personal habits, hand washing, etc.)- Food (including handling, storage and temperature control, etc.)- Equipment (including cleaning, sanitizing, logs and checklists, etc.)- Toilet and Hand washing Facilities - Housekeeping, Laundry, Wardrobe areas (chemical storage, filters cleaning, etc.)- Entertainment and Youth Activities Areas - Spa and Salon area - Sees that personnel files for the positions under them in the chain of command are maintained Ensure that the following required logs, records and checklists are maintained- Sanitation logs and checklists - HAACP logs and checklists - Temperature logs and checklists - Equipment maintenance logs and checklists - Train required officers and crew on current (and newly developed) public health regulations and responsibilities.Oversee the Integrated Pest Management program onboard
