Deirdre Latour is the CEO and Founder of Rebellis Communications, a strategic advisory firm that helps companies navigate their toughest moments—whether it’s a leadership transition, a reputational threat, or a brand reinvention. As the former Chief Communications Officer of GE and head of Edelman’s New York office, Deirdre is known as one of the most trusted voices in strategic communications. Over a 30-year career spanning industries from tech to education to live entertainment, Latour has advised Fortune 100 CEOs, global boards, and leadership teams through defining moments. She spent 14 years at GE, rising to Chief Communications Officer and corporate officer, where she led global communications through CEO transitions and helped reposition GE from an industrial giant to a digital innovator. Latour went on to lead corporate affairs at Pearson, the FTSE 100 education leader, overseeing investor relations, government affairs, brand, and ESG strategy. She later ran the 800-person Edelman New York office as President, advising major clients across healthcare, retail, and consumer sectors. Latour has earned repeated recognition on the PRWeek Power List and was named Corporate PR Person of the Year by PR News. She serves on the board of New York City Center, is a member of the Paley Media Council and Marketing Advisory Council for the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science, and is a frequent keynote speaker on reputation, leadership, and change.
