Passionate about life, seniors, and real estate, and spreading the love. As the former owner of the SoCT Real Estate Investment Association (SoCT REIA) Deirdre\'s group wanted to hear about Assisted Living as a real estate play. She called in a company in AZ that taught group home style senior housing and Deirdre was hooked! She loved the concept and thought it was a loving, caring way to have seniors with Dementia and assisted living needs live in a regular home with around the clock staff. Out of that concept Just Like Home, LLC was formed; a management company that operates senior residences for those with memory care needs. The first home opened during the pandemic and was quickly filled; the second one is under contract. Deirdre\'s passion is helping seniors and she is expanding to accommodate the needs of seniors, as she has a very long waiting list of people wanting their loved one to move in. Let\'s Talk Seniors, Memory Care Issues: Alzheimer\'s. Dementia, and Parkinson\'s is a Facebook Live show and You Tube channel that Deirdre hosts, weekly, interviewing experts in the area of seniors. Home To Home; A Senior Guide To Housing is Deirdre\'s first book; she is also a co-author of Be a Success Maverick; How Ordinary People Do it Different. She was just featured in a third book-written by Lynn Murphy, Women Who Push The Limits; 50 Life Lessons from Inspiring Women. Deirdre is also owner of CT Property Network which specializing in working with seniors and non-seniors alike, buying their houses and fixing-and-flipping them as well as negotiating short sales; having closed more than short sales for Realtors and homeowners. As the often described \"Queen of Short Sales\" in CT, she wrote and teaches a Continuing Ed Class for Realtors on Distressed Property. She is also a landlord in CT, and loves to talk real estate. Her other passions include; world traveling, being everywhere and anywhere with her grown children and young grandchildren; entertaining, being entertained and learning all that she can. She has a love of learning and credits Landmark Education, Tony Robbins and her current coach, Paul Finck for her Can Do Attitude and Open Mind.
