For a decade, I served as the assistant editor and then editor in chief of Virginia Lawyer magazine (http://bit.ly/VaLawmag), the official publication of the Virginia State Bar (VSB), reaching lawyers across the Commonwealth and the country. I also serve as the Deputy Director of Communications for the VSB. I have substantial experience in communications and brand strategy for companies and professionals, as well as public relations, social media, and advertising. My secret skill: I am adept at product and corporate naming. I have worked with government agencies, law firms, businesses, legal professionals, and non-profits where they intersect with presenting themselves to clients and the public via corporate communications, editorial, social media, advertising, and photography. Extensively travelled, I have lived in nine states and five countries. Mama to four. I talk to horses.
