Every Atlanta Hawks fan and State Atena guest enters our venue with expectations that include laughing, partying, dancing and cheering or a combination of them all. It is uncommon for fans and guests to be mindful of all of the behind the scenes processes of Safety & Security. I work daily to maintain the safety and security of every guest. Allowing all who come an opportunity to freely enjoy the ultimate arena experience from the instant they enter the arena until the moment they leave. As Manager of Safety & Security for the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena, I am responsible for overseeing the operation of our 24/7 Building Security team, as well as all Event Base Operations. Additionally I assist in the facilitation of the organization\'s Executive CPR /First Aid training as well as various organizational wide Safety & Security trainings for State Farm Arena /The Atlanta Hawks staff,and SFA affiliated 3rd party partners. MY professional specialties include DSX, CCTV/Aviligon, Lobby Guard, Medeco Intelligent Key System, 24/7 ISS Command, Traka 21 and Key Wizzard.Certifications held include US Department of Homeland Security and Center For Domestic Preparedness & Office for Bombing Prevention, Surveillance Detection, IAVM Trained Crowd Management, Emory University Management Essentials Continuing Education Training and Executive CPR & First Aid. We are excited to boast a tier one facility. We are setting the bar above and beyond our own expectations. We are looking to the future for many new and exciting opportunities in our department.
