   I started the Deima Noah Foundation because I wanted to do something about the challenges women face at work: pay gaps, financial insecurity, and a lack of equal opportunities. I did not have a nonprofit background when I launched it, and I will be the first to admit I have been learning as I go. But I believe the best way to learn is to dive in headfirst, and that is exactly what I did. Running the foundation has taught me how to apply my corporate and innovation experience in a very different world. Some days that means building partnerships with local organizations. Other days it means sitting with women to hear their stories and figuring out how we can help. Our work focuses on- Advocating for women\'s workplace rights including equal pay and financial security - Creating programs that give women tools to protect income and grow wealth - Partnering with community groups to extend our reach and impact This role has been as much about learning as leading, and it keeps me grounded in why I do what I do.
