About Dean Giberson
During my 30 + years in the computer industry I started as an in house IT staffer and then moved to the consulting realm back to in house and again back to consulting. During my time in consulting I have managed teams of developers as well as mentored them. I enjoyed doing customer training and the education and sessions at industry conferences like SYMIX world and Inforum as well as the SUN conferences. I have consulted in many industries including but not limited to wholesale distribution, residential and commercial property management, healthcare and for the last 20+ years manufacturing focusing on Symix/SyteLine. In my previous in-house position I acted as project manager, business analyst, user support and application development as well as database administration and application security. I have a strong knowledge and a lot of experience with all modules of SyteLine and with the toolset and MS Sql. Returning to consulting in a new role as a business analyst and implementation consultant I will get the opportunity to work with a variety of customers assisting them with implementing and upgrading SyteLine, mentoring and training and assisting with customizations they may desire to fit SyteLine to their unique business model. Specialties: Accounting, job control and costing, business analysis and design, programming, solution specification documentation, use cases, SQL performance, T-SQL development, and report writing.

Returning to the consulting realm I will wear many hats crossing back and forth between application support and development support. I expect to manage projects as well as develop requirement definition, specifications and testing specifications and sign off documents. I will assist in all phases of implementations and fill in with coding when necessary. I am looking forward to training customers in the toolsets as well as the application since training and presenting are my passion.
