In my current role, I am responsible for building and managing a wide range of secure, operationally supported Middleware and database platforms for the applications stack used across European Operations. In an outsourced model, I hold the vendor (Accenture) accountable for delivering platform builds according to defined standards and for the operational management of these platforms, ensuring they meet the agreed SLAs. My focus is on delivering these platforms and services to our internal customers owning the applications stack, timely and appropriately.Given that European Operations is a highly regulated environment, I ensure these platforms remain free from vulnerabilities, managing prompt remediation and maintaining software currency by overseeing the end-of-life process for platforms.
