As an ESG Intern, I was actively involved in researching and validating ESG KPI parameters across environmental, social, and governance domains. My responsibilities included working with NACE codes and conducting basic financial KPI validation through the company’s internal portal.I collaborated closely with senior team members to conduct detailed benchmarking and analysis of social and governance KPIs, contributing to client sample pitches. This involved reviewing and extracting insights from a wide range of reports, including annual, financial, sustainability, and biodiversity disclosures.I consistently met daily research targets and maintained comprehensive databases and spreadsheets to track and manage ESG KPIs. I also developed a solid understanding of key international ESG frameworks and regulations, including the CSRD, GRI standards, and the EU Taxonomy, with a focus on social and governance reporting requirements.
