About Deepp Patel

I am a third year student at Temple University in the Honors Program. I am bioengineering major with a concentration in cellular engineering. I have a passion for bioengineering as it combines my interests of biology and physics into one. I want to work with tissues and cells to create a difference in the medical world. My main goal is to use my skills to help others.

   I organize events to gather medical supplies such as eye glasses through Gift of Sight Eyeglasses Drive. I help raise funds for natural disaster relief efforts. I was the executive board member: STARS Coordinator (September 2023-May 2024) where the responsibilities of the management of team finances and relationship with Temple Student Government through active communication, initiative, and teamwork with other E-board members and team members. Now I am the vice president (May 2024-Present), and I work with co-presidents to manage logistics and organization affairs as well as important decision making for the club such as member involvement, event organization, fundraising and allocation. I developed teamwork and communication skills while organizing events with other E-board members.
