Hi, I\'m Deepnarayan Sett, a 4th-year undergraduate at Jabalpur. I\'m a software developer with experience in systems programming and web development with hands-on experience in developing scalable applications. I was a mentee of the Google Summer of Code Open-Source programme funded by Google, with the 350 hour project size. My role as a Google Summer of Code mentee with CCExtractor Development involved porting core media-processing libraries to Rust, on top of the CToRust project, which had been ongoing for the last 5 years, where I successfully migrated over 25% of the core codebase, including the central demultiplexing libraries. The demultiplexing libraries were on a wide variety of stream types, the most interesting of which were the TS suite and the ES library, which were the demultiplexing libraries for Transport Streams and Elementary Streams, respectively. A detailed report on everything I did in CCExtractor is posted in my GitHub and linked in my resume. I developed extensive unit tests and developed cross-platform over Linux, Mac and Windows. Now, I am a core maintainer at the Systems Programming branch at CCExtractor Development, working on a 19+ year-old project which is the de facto subtitle-extraction software on the likes of FFMpeg, with thousands of users at media processing companies who are active in our community. Before joining CCExtractor, I used to work at building SaaS. I worked as a full-stack intern in a SaaS firm called Amplify Consulting LLC. It was a holdings firm for SaaS products like Autosubmit, FastScribe and Dialog.ai. During my internship at Amplify Consulting LLC, I collaborated with a team of mostly senior developers for the development of an AI-based interview SaaS application. It is a web-app that uses the Vapi Voice AI to create a virtual face-to-face interview with an AI bot. We centred the application around NextJS. We initially used Django for the backend but later switched to NestJS due to deployment issues. We used the Vapi SDK for the voice AI to create a seamless interview call between the AI and the user. The primary use case was for interview preparation and for companies to hold screening rounds without having to develop the entire application themselves. After the project was completed, I worked on CI/CD for the deployment of this project alongside Autosubmit.ai, a project that was previously developed by senior developers of the company. Dialog AI went on to become #2 on ProductHunt on the initial days of the release.
