As a Senior Logistics Supervisor at GFL Environmental Inc, I manage the logistical operations of a high-volume multimillion dollar provincial Extended Producer Responsibility Project, overseeing and performing the dispatching, scheduling, routing, shipping, receiving, and operational activities in a fast-paced environment. With over 10 years of experience in logistics, operations, and transportation, I have a proven track record of lowering costs, streamlining processes, and enhancing customer service. I have a Master of Management degree from the University of Windsor, specializing in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management, and I am proficient in MS Office, CRM, and data analytics tools. I have explored and implemented cost-effective strategies that resulted in annual savings of around 15%(~$1 million dollars) in transportation costs, developed and streamlined the entire logistics department from the ground up leading to savings of around 50% per year in operating costs, and reduced the time spent on scheduling/routing of materials, and troubleshooting by 66%. I have also identified and resolved logistical bottlenecks in the network, improved vendor and customer relationships, and ensured compliance with safety and environmental standards.
