Working on a PaaS migration project where migrating backend components from Oracle to Microsoft SQL Server on the cloud. The project primarily includes two components: Oracle (PL/SQL stored procedures) and Informatica interfaces. My role involves converting Informatica SQL queries and Oracle stored procedures into T-SQL using SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA), followed by manual fixes to resolve compatibility issues. I perform unit testing of the converted code based on UTL and then hand it over to QA for validation. In addition, I work with the Informatica team to run workflows and verify that the interfaces are functioning correctly after migration. I am responsible for end-to-end backend development, including code conversion, validation, deployment, and post-deployment maintenance in close collaboration with QA and Informatica teams for production readiness.
