With a Master of Fashion Technology degree from NIFT Bangalore and over six years of experience in the retail and e-commerce industry, I am a merchandising expert who can develop and execute effective strategies to optimize product placement, messaging, and search relevancy for assigned product categories. As a Category Manager at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd, I collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of merchandise plans, including sales and inventory forecasting, assortment planning, and inventory optimization. I analyze website metrics and customer behavior data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement. I have consistently achieved sales and revenue growth targets for my categories, thanks to my skills in market research, pricing strategies, vendor negotiation, and product assortment. I am proficient in using various tools and platforms, such as Power BI, SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, to deliver exceptional results when it comes to data analysis, reporting, and presentation.
