Develop and prepare design sketches and layout drawings for Formwork and Shoring (Falsework) based on inventory, schedule, cost and customer preference under direction of Sales & Engineering management. • Gain an expert-level technical understanding of ULMA’s wide range of products. • Develop knowledge of, and competency in application of all relevant codes and standards governing the design and use of forming and shoring equipment in Canada. • Have an advanced understanding and operating of AutoCAD, REVIT and related software to produce accurate drawings and material lists in a timely manner. Continuously develop ability in both 2D and 3D design approaches. • Provide REVIT support to other designers. • Calculate dimensions, square footage, profile and component specifications, and material quantities. • Perform calculations to validate induced loads imposed on equipment during operation. • Read and review project blueprints and structural specifications to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements. • Confer with supervisor and/or sales personnel to determine project details such as plan preparation, acceptance testing, and evaluation of field conditions. • Provide technical support to customers and assembly team. • Develop plans and estimate costs for installation of systems, utilization of facilities, or construction of structures. • Support the local engineering team on Revit issues and inquiries.
