About Deepa Mahesh Dumbre
With years of success as a Professional Entrepreneur, I have a strong track record of adding value, handling complexities, and leading strategic initiatives in Finance for over 20 years. Gained extensive exposure to Managing Liquidity involving fundraising and debt management, Regulatory Compliance, Business Transformation, Financial Accounting and Auditing, etc across diversified industries. In a short span of 2.5 years, I led fundraising of about USD 3 billion in the form of loans, NCDs, etc and this continues. Some of this involved complex structuring and some were concluded in the quickest time such as a week, etc. Besides, I spearheaded the most prestigious treasury project, under which the end-to-end transformation of group-wide systems, processes, and people was successfully executed. During my stint with EY, I have always been known as a trailblazer for doing something new, such as conceptualizing a finance forum for the telecom towers industry, instituting a work-life policy at the national level, setting up women connect sessions to drive diversity agenda, etc. Have been an active speaker in recognized treasury platforms/events and also have been awarded as \'Treasury Leader\' by Transformance in Feb 2024. Further, my contribution to society includes various activities starting from regular donations to participating in cleaning drives, etc. Throughout my various roles, including my current position at Vedanta, I have consistently contributed as a business partner to the organization, clients, and people. My personality traits—such as troubleshooting, strong business acumen, and the ability to make things happen on the ground—have been instrumental in achieving a successful journey thus far.
