ABOUT DEEPAK VENKATASUBRAMANIAN
I am a research associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City where I assist our staff labor economists with their research and policy duties. I am a recent graduate from the University at North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Statistics and Analytics and Economics with honors. My aspiration is to create and present compelling stories guided by empirical research to aid our understanding of our world. My research has taken me on many journeys from tracking the relative wages of immigrant birth cohorts to examining the paradoxical nature of birthweight outcomes in Asian Indian women. Growing my skillset and knowledge base in data science and Economics has been paramount for my development and I plan to further pursue my education at a graduate level.
