About Deepak Sharma
Dr. Deepak Sharma is currently working as a Principal Scientist at CSIR–National Physical Laboratory (CSIR-NPL) Delhi, since March 2022. Prior to this, he was with CSIR–Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIR-CSIO) Chandigarh, from 2012 to 2022, and with Tata Consultancy Services from 2005 to 2012.He completed his M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (with Gold Medal) from MNIT Jaipur in 2005 and earned his Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from AcSIR, Ghaziabad in 2019.Dr. Sharma has been involved in numerous projects related to time dissemination, the Internet of Things (IoT), wireless sensor networks, computational instrumentation, mobile communication, and more. His areas of research include Time & Frequency Metrology, Computer Algorithms, Cyber-Physical Systems (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence. He is also actively involved in various HRD and skill-development initiatives as an educator, mentor, and motivator.Dr. Sharma is a Fellow of IETE (India) and a Senior Member of including the Communication Society and Computer Society. He is also a life member of other professional societies such as CSI (India) and MSI (India). He has previously served as an executive committee member of the Chandigarh Subsection and the Communications Society Delhi Chapter.Research &
