About Deepak S.
With over nine years of experience in software engineering, I am passionate about creating innovative and user-friendly applications that improve healthcare outcomes and performance. I have a master\'s degree in computer science and a strong background in Java, React, AWS, and Ruby. I am currently a senior software engineer at Johnson & Johnson, where I work on creating services for applications that enhance functionality and usability.In my previous role at Zillow, I was an application engineer developing apps on the Workday platform, leveraging AWS in the backend and extending functionality in the HCM space. I also worked on a project that enabled interoperability of patient data between multiple hospitals using Java and JUnit at Cerner Corporation, where I mentored new associates and helped them start their engineering careers. I have developed multiple Ruby endpoints for Cerner mobile application, and created a new REST service that verified prescription orders of patients. I have also used ReactJS with Redux to create the front end UI for setting up trust levels of hospitals based on data access. I enjoy working with diverse and collaborative teams, and contributing to the mission and vision of the organization.
