Engineering manager with a history of delivering cloud-based software, APIs, and services in e-commerce, finance, insurance, and marketing industries. I have managed onsite and distributed teams at global organizations.Experienced in all phases of product development and operating with diverse technologies. I build focused, capable, and motivated teams. Strong background in agile management and execution. I have worked extensively with Java, JavaScript, Node.js across the full stack using modern frontend and backend frameworks- At Amazon, I led a team building services and tools to classify billions of products sold worldwide for accurate tax calculation- At eBay, I managed the Unified Content Platform that powers products delivering educational content to sellers to grow their business on eBay- At TD, one of the largest banks in Canada, I managed engineers developing payments technology products for international banks and institutions that transact their Canadian business through TD- At Aviva, a leading insurer in Canada, I helped build and launch Aviva Ally. This commercial insurance web product markedly reduced time and complexity involved in underwriting commercial insurance policies- At SAP, I managed the AribaWeb UI Framework team. Led the successful UI modernization next-gen release in 2014. After which, played a crucial role in rolling out the new UI across all Ariba business commerce products in 2016- Before the above, I was engineering lead for many years leading teams that delivered mobile banking platforms for banks and built enterprise web applications and services in the marketing space.
